Update

We've begun to create our project board by taking three large cardboard boxes and decorating them with magazine pictures and objects of trash. We've also administered the survey we created to more than half the intended participants. We still need to figure out our "Trash Can Jackson" experiment and follow through with that. Despite that setback, I think we're on a pretty good track as of now.

Final Topic

We've decided on going with the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" theme. We've already thought of several possible experiments, like monitoring what's thrown away that can be recycled and surveys asking questions involving the three R's. Our idea for a board is to piece together pieces of cardboard or some other sturdy material (reused or recycled, of course!), and maybe "decorating" it with recyclables.

Topic Reconsideration

Our main choice for a topic is now recycling, because the cancer cell idea seemed too limited. We're thinking of doing energy used/saved by recycling, and possibly do an experiment on how much one household throws away that can be recycled in one week, or something along those lines.

First Entry

We're thinking of doing our G4 project on cancer cells vs regular cells, because cancerous cells use a lot more energy and upset the system of the body.
